Landon skyrocketed off to a 2-0 lead in the opening minutes, but never stretched its lead past three goals in the first half, largely due to Bullis’ Cooper Revis Cooper Revis 5'10" | FO Bullis | 2025 MD ‘ dominance at the face-off X, leaving the score at a hotly contested 7-5 at halftime. Landon switched to junior Talan Smith Talan Smith 6'0" | 160 lbs | FO | Left Hand Landon | 2025 MD in the 2nd half, and the Lafayette commit won five consecutive face-offs changing the course of the game, finally giving the Bears a chance to set up consecutive possessions. With Ohio State commit Jewel Walker Jewel Walker 6'3" | 210 lbs | M | Right Hand The Bullis School | 2024 MD out for Bullis, Landon had the edge in 6v6 play from the jump, and Smith leveling the playing field silenced Bullis’ offense in the 2nd half as the Bulldogs only managed to score three goals.
Here’s a look at the Landon standouts coming away from Friday:
Landon has a very balanced offensive attack, but with a lot of eyes drawn to Georgetown commit Kevin Miller Kevin Miller 5’9″ | 160 lbs | A | Right Hand Landon School | 2024 MD , Panetti seemingly quarterbacked the offense on Friday. Panetti is listed as a midfielder but fits perfectly into the right attack spot, scoring two goals in the first half, including a show-stopping behind-the-back goal on Syracuse commit Brayden Ferguson Brayden Ferguson 5’9″ | 155 lbs | G | Right Hand The Bullis School | 2024 MD . Panetti’s lateral movement, quick feet, and ability to use both hands make him a versatile prospect who could run out of the box for Bucknell next year, though he has the potential to become a starting attackman.

Owens possesses rare stick skills for a pole that you would only see from an LSM who grew up watching way too many CJ Costabile or Scott Ratliff highlights. He kicked off the game with its first goal, dodging through the Bullis defense like a middie before showing his range later on with an outside rip in the second half. His athleticism shows on the wings as he was Landon’s only hope for possession in the first half when they struggled to win a face-off. He’s a sound defender who sits low and has quick feet, not wasting any steps. He times his checks perfectly, showcasing underrated forearm strength. He’ll be a huge asset for the Jumbos for the next four years.

Leading the game with four goals, Murray’s name was littered all over the stat sheet on Friday. The Bucknell commit operated mostly from X or in the slot position just above the crease but found most of his success as an outside shooter. Three of his four goals were assisted and he showed that he’s at his best when he slips off defenders, when they aren’t looking, to gain time and room to shoot. He might’ve been the best shooter on the field on Friday. I’d like to see him use his off-hand a little bit more as he heavily favored his right, and also missed a couple wide-open catches in front of the crease, but besides that, Murray possesses great off-ball instincts and prototypical shooting ability for the Division I level and should fit in well at Bucknell.

Ulisney was unguardable on Friday and helped lead Landon with four points alongside Sean Murray Sean Murray 5’10” | 160 lbs | A | Right Hand Landon | 2025 MD . The slippery middie can spin the rock, with all of his points coming off assists with a pair of hockey assists that could’ve just as easily been marked as points. Most players with his frame – Ulisney is listed at 5’9 and 145 pounds – will operate solely inside, but the senior wasn’t afraid of dodging from up top and was the best initiator for the Bears and on both sides of the field. Ulisney might’ve been a little under-recruited due to his size, but he’ll be a key playmaker for Bowdoin for the next few years.

Furgeson was all over the field in the Bears’ win, scrapping on the wings and active in deflecting passes in 6v6 play even as a short-stick. The 2023 IAC Football Offensive Player of the Year state champion wrestler possesses the prototypical size for a Division I d-middie. His wrestling background is clear as day as a cover man, as he consistently wins his leverage matchups and showcases elite patience not reaching too hard to make splashy plays, gluing his stick to the weak side hip of the man he’s guarding. I’d like to see a little bit more growth as a transition player, as he’s still looking for his first points of the season, but Furgeson has the makeup of an elite lockdown d-middie.
