The pool of talented players has been growing, and there are many impactful players in the Central Region this spring. Here are some names to watch out for from the 2024, 2025, and 2026 graduating classes.
Shaw is one of the top midfielders in Ohio, and he’s been playing like it. The Ohio State commit reached 300 career points during the first week of April and has continued to showcase how unguardable he is. Rarely coming off the field, the shifty dodger has elite athleticism and a fantastic shot.

One of Orange’s top playmakers, Hanna can spread the defense. He has good footwork, a high-caliber shot, and consistently positions himself to make plays off-ball. The Bellarmine signee scored three goals against Olentangy Berlin on April 25th.

Musgrove is a very crafty player who has been helping lead a talented Olentangy Orange offense. The Loyola commit possesses a high lax IQ along with the ability to make defenders pay from wherever he is on the field. He tallied two goals and three assists in a matchup with Hilliard Davidson on April 23rd.

A player with size, speed, and a cannon of a left hand, Welsh is always a threat to make a play and is especially dangerous off of a pick. The Bellarmine commit scored eight goals against Massillon Jackson on April 27th.

Enjoying a breakout junior year, Lipp currently leads Pickerington North with 40 goals and nine assists this season. He moves well off-ball and has great hands under pressure. He tallied seven goals against Westerville South on April 25th.

A longstick middie who excels on offense, defense, and in transition, Nebraska is a fun player to watch, and a gamer who isn’t afraid to shoot the ball. On April 18th against Delaware Hayes, Nebraska’s stat line was two goals, one assist, six groundballs, and three caused turnovers. He contributes all over the field.

Staheli is not only extremely quick on the clamp but also with his feet. The FOGO is robotic at the X and has been dominating, winning a high percentage of his draws with few errors. The senior has been integral to Westerville South’s success this season, winning 25-of-31 draws against Pickerington North on April 25th.

Another player on this list who scores a lot of goals, Dorbish knows how to finish the ball inside and on the perimeter. He also excels in transition and is very efficient when riding, scoring goals off of hustle plays. He scored four goals against Olentangy Liberty on April 26th.

Kovarik is a team player who makes a lot of hustle plays and plays until the whistle. He uses his speed and strength to dodge downhill, generating looks for other offensive players because he possesses a strong shot. A threat to score with his right or left, Kovarik is a young player with a lot of promise. He has tallied 20 points so far this season.
